New Curler Special |
|
New Curler SPECIAL!!! The Oshawa Curling Club has special
pricing for new curlers of only $199.00.
This fee allows the new curler to play in multiple leagues,
and is open to all levels of curlers. New curlers could
also come out to one of our "Learn to Curl" days. The sessions
are run by qualified instructors and will give you all the
experience you need to join in to the fun of curling.

Adult SPECIAL!!! The Oshawa Curling Club has special
pricing for curlers in their 20's.
In the first year these new members will pay only $199.00.
In the following years curlers in their 20's will get a 30%
discount on all curling dues.
The fee allows the curler to play in multiple leagues,
and is open to all levels of curlers.

The Oshawa Curling Club
gratefully acknowledges receipt of $56,100.00 from the
Ontario Trillum Foundation. This grant was used to repair
the roof of the Curling club and to replace the roof top
condenser.
The Trillium Foundation,
an agency of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and
Recreation, receives annually $100 million of government
funding generated through Ontario's charity casino
initiative. The Foundation provides grants to eligible
charitable and not-for-profit organizations in the arts,
culture, sports, recreation, environment and social
sectors.

The Oshawa Curling Club was
founded in 1882 and is one of the oldest sporting
organizations to operate continuously in the province.
Ever since its beginning, the club has continued to
flourish and grow to the point where, today, we have 600
members and we offer one of the best curling facilities
available in Ontario. We are a private,
member-owned organization sustained entirely by
membership, advertising, sponsorships, facility
rentals, in-club sales and fund-raising events.
Whether you are an experienced curler
who wants to hone your skills in our competitive league
or if you are totally unfamiliar with the sport and want
to learn, we have what you need. We can teach you the
game, provide you with equipment from our pro shop and
put you into a playing schedule to suit your needs.
Our membership rates are very
reasonable and flexible and can be tailored to suit your
required level of participation. In other words, you can
curl as little or as much as you like. Please wander

simply come down on any weeknight from October through
March to take a look at what we do.
